ClearCount Medical Systems Inc., a Ross-based developer of technology that prevents patients from leaving the operation table with a surgial sponge inside, has raised $3.4 million from local investors.
CEO David Palmer raised $4.1 millino from mostly the same investors in October 2008. Leading the latest round was Draper Triangle Ventures, Downtown. Several private individuals were return investors, including veteran entrepreneur Peter DeComo.
