David Palmer, President and Chief Executive Officer
David Palmer is the President and CEO of ClearCount. Prior to joining ClearCount, David was the Chief Operating Officer for the Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse, a public-private partnership that invests in and supports life sciences companies. He has over ten years of hospital management experience. David has an MPM from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University. Mr. Palmer is also a member of the Board of Directors.
Steven Fleck, Cofounder and Chief Technology Officer
Steven Fleck is the Cofounder and Chief Technology Officer of ClearCount. Steven previously worked for Boehringer Laboratories, a medical device manufacturing firm in Philadelphia, in product development where he was responsible for several new products from conception to commercial release. Steve has an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a degree in Applied Physics and Bioengineering from Cornell University.
David J. Haffner, Chief Financial Officer
David Haffner is the CFO of ClearCount. David served in the CFO capacity for several medical technology companies, including RedPath Integrated Pathology; Renal Solutions, Inc., successfully sold to Fresenius in 2007; and NOMOS Corporation, merged with North American Scientific, Inc. He spent several years with Document Services, Inc. and 12 years with Price Waterhouse. Mr. Haffner is a CPA and received a BS degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the Pennsylvania State University.
Jim Sweeney, Vice President of Marketing
Jim Sweeney, Vice President of Marketing for ClearCount, previously served as Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for Renal Solutions, Inc., assisting in building a 10-fold value increase over four years. He also served in senior positions at Baxter Healthcare over a 17-year period, including Vice President / General Manager of Baxter Renal Asia, a $100M unit serving 14 countries with 250 employees. Jim has a MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a BS from Miami University.
Jim Srock, Vice President of Engineering and Operations
Jim Srock, Vice President of Engineering and Operations for ClearCount, most recently served as Vice President of Engineering and New Product Development at Renal Solutions, where he led development of home dialysis systems. Over 26 years, Jim has served in management roles at Medrad, Respironics, Oberg Industries and Bayside Automation, successfully leading development teams to product commercialization. Jim has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and certification training from the Program Management Institute.
